“Fire Within:an ALS Benefit”
Steve was diagnosed with the progressive neurodegenerative disease ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Through the integration of various forms of entertainment, GRAE produced an intimate gathering to honor Steve and Hope, as well as raise funds and awareness for ALS.
Guests were provided with delicious catered food and desserts by Steve Reames Catering, and sponsored beverages by Atlanta Concoctions and The Patron Spirits Company throughout the evening to accompany a full night of entertainment from some exciting artists. Live dance performances were provided by Full Radius Dance, Bubba Carr, Lisa Lock, and North Atlanta Dance Theatre. Zara Sky and Gareth Asher performed live music for the guests. The event was held at Callanwolde Mansion the evening of March 2nd, 2014. The property “is a magnificent Gothic-Tudor style mansion situated on a beautifully landscaped 12.5-acre estate.” Located in Druid Hills, this property has the uniqueness of an Atlanta residence, but the allure of a historic grand manor.
This beautiful and intimate event was truly a night to remember for both Steve and Hope, as well as those who attended to support this amazing couple!
